I got a job!

YAY!!!! I got a job today! Such a blessing. It is for 3, 4, and 5th grade art teacher. This is not something that I had ever really even thought about doing before, but I am really excited! God has all sorts of things in store for us that we never plan for....I'm excited about about my future! A big plus for me with this job is that Lori Gardner is the asst. principle!

Happy 4th of July

We had an amazing 4th of July weekend! Evan and I left for Smith Lake on Saturday and didn't come home until Tuesday afternoon, it was a good break! My family along with the Mounce family and the Coleman family were all there. Evan and I both got a tad bit sun burnt...never fun. I always enjoy the week of the fourth though because it takes me back to where we came from- not sure if I think about it anymore than most, but i am truly thankful and always conscience of our soldiers- Especially after losing Blake. His death has been a constant reminder for me to always give thanks. I miss him dearly. Okay back to vacation... Usually the condo that we stay at is always great, this weekend it was rough....everything was broke, including the elevator!!! We stayed on the fourth floor and had to take the stairs all weekend. That wouldn't typically be that bad if you didn't have groceries and luggage to haul up and down all week....nightmare. Our blender, coffee pot, and microwave were also non functioning this weekend. This made life slightly difficult, but we had a blast with our friends and family. Definitely a fourth to remember!

bye house

The house in oxford has officially sold today! Tracy is headed to Oxford now to sign the papers. This is such a relief! There are tons of great memories in that house and in a way I am going to really miss it, but it is just eating money sitting over there. Yay for selling house at Soleil!!!!

wedding!

These are a few pictures from the wedding.

sister

My daddy is an alderman here in Pontotoc, and this past week he had an alderman conference that he had to attend in Biloxi, Ms. While my daddy and step-mom were out of town they asked my to keep my little sister for them. I of course said no problem. Carlie has just recently turned 14 and she is absolutely beautiful. After my parents divorce I always just lived with my mother, so over the last i dunno 20 years, I have spent the majority of my time with my mother. This past week that I have gotten to spend with Carlie has been a real blessing. We have never been very close, but the opportunity for us to be wasnt ever there. I am so thankful to have a my precious sister in my life. Gage has been a little jealous this week though....he doesn't think its fair that she gets to stay and he doesn't. I think he has an alterior motive for wanting to stay though. On a super great note I had a job interview Monday for a job that I would die for and I have another one on Friday for an art position....could be a neat experience. I am just in constant prayer that God would show me where he would have me be. I need a job desperately, but I want it to be the job that he has for me. All prayers are welcomed!! Oh and i just about burned my finger off last night cooking supper...hot grease poured out on my already hurt finger. I thought I was dying! But good news is, I didn't.
